On the Western edge of the Darling Scarp, walking through Jarrah and Red Gum Forrest, with spectacular views both West to coast line and back towards Dwellingup. Walking through original tree lines and regenerated forest groves. Part of the walk skirts the Alcoa bauxite lands, gravely loams rich in diversity and wildflowers at this time of the year. Kangaroo paws, cow slips and if lucky with season, donkey orchards and with special luck, spider orchards . Walk grade 3/5 with long stretches of undulating gentle slopes. a few challenges, but nothing over 6/5 !!!!. Ample stops to enjoy a chat and the view. ! 1 hour travel from Leederville. Weather in October can be cool mornings and pleasant days. Boots or strong shoes recommended.. Jacket probably sensible.
