Detailed Description:
The park features ten lakes and patches of small but beautiful Tuart forests and woodlands. The lakes are the home to thrombolites in the lake that have existed over a period of 2000 years and are the largest known examples of living non-marine microbialites in the Southern Hemisphere. This is also one of only two places known where microbialites occur in water less salty than sea water.
